Recipe of the Day: Chimichangas


Chimichangas




Ingredients:
  • Ground Chicken, turkey or beef
  • Chilli powder
  • Corn 
  • Flour Totillas
  • Guacamole (optional)
  • Salsa
  • Sour Cream
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Toothpicks

Directions:
  • Take your seasoned ground meat and let it cook until thoroughly done
  • Remove from heat and drain the excess greases and oils 
  • Add  8 oz of whole kernel corn and mix together
  • Lay out a tortilla and fill with about 2 tbsp of the mixture 
  • Fold and pin closed with your toothpick to avoid spillage
  • Drop into your heated oil and fry until golden brown
  • Place on a napkin
  • Top with your favorite toppings and ENJOY!!

And Voila you have chimichangas and they didn't cost you a fortune.
