Poo-Pourri Review
I was given a sample of Poo-pourri. This product is intended to be used BEOFRE someone goes to the bathroom and it in turn eliminates odors. After meeting the products founder, Suzy Baitz, at Spark & Hustle, I was beyond excited to get home and try this out. I mean, hey this could be in every stocking stuffer for the next few years. A great product is the best gift. Something people can use for more than one occasion. HELLO!! Multi-purpose!!! Beside the great packaging, I love the labels and how everything looked before I even got a chance to try it out. The neatly wrapped package included scented wipes, breath spray and the ultimate potty spray. The sizing on the samples were perfect because they fit neatly in my purse. The breath spray was a superb idea because let's face it... How many times have you gone to lunch with a friend or met someone with FOWL breath.. This is great. I love this stuff. I will have it in every bathroom in my house from now on. The pricing is affordable (nothing over $30) and a total upgrade from the $1.00 little clip ons.
The packaging included Poo-Pourri cleansing wipes, Potty Potion and the Potty Mouth breath spray.
TOTALLY LOVE POO-POURRI!!!

Natural Spotlight: Lawanda Berry
I ran across a jewelry designer by the name of Lawanda Berry on Facebook. Her company, Your Style Inc. formally named L Plus B Jewelry, was established October 2008. What started out as a hobby and a way to make a little money from Ebay developed into to a passion for creating jewelry. She stated that, " I have always had a passion for creating. Whether I am drawing, writing poetry, or customizing jewelry, creating puts me in a different place... a happy place. Customer service is something that has always been the starting point of whatever I do. I want to make sure the clients are feel good about the product they purchase and the service they receive."

Spark & Hustle Conference
Recently, I attended the Houston leg of the Spark & Hustle tour. I had a great time. I learned a lot and met several great female entrepreneurs. We exchanged business cards and gained out all kinds of great little tips and nuggets. I was the only fashion designer, which I thought was very cool. Most of the attendees, were in other areas but we all had gathered t hear the wisdom of Tory Johnson. Meeting Tory was a blast. She kept it 100 with us. She made sure to give personal attention to each of us. Cindy W. Morrison was in attendance. She is a social media specialist, author and several other great titles but most of all she was relatable. Each of the teaching segments were filled with things I had NO clue about and apparently have been my business' bottom line. Most people think about the creative side only and here we were made to open our eyes to the money and marketing aspects. We had these really cool grab bags and the vendors supplied great products. I had a few favorites out of the bunch though: Hail Merry Blond Macaroons and Poo-pourri bathroom sprays and toiletries. Every year Spark & Hustle comes to Houston, I will definitely be there ready with my IPAD in hand. (I forgot to bring my handy dandy tablet or laptop and vince had to write everything out by hand... Sheesh)
If you are a female that is even slightly considering entering the business realm, I strongly suggest attending a conference near you.
