New Year, New Things

Happy New Year!!!

Yes, I know that it is February. I am so full of great expectations and joy. I spent the holidays in the great city of New Orleans. As New Years rolled around, I reflected on all I accomplished and didn't quite accomplish, for that matter. Instead of jotting down a super long list of things that I may or may not do, I simply adjusted my short term and long term goals. I know that most times when people set resolutions they soon falter and return to the old sense of self, the one that they feel is most comfortable. I mean let's face it sometimes change can be terrifying and that which we already know is... for the lack of better phrasing "comfortable" and less heart attack inducing. With that being said, I just want to be better, one step at a time.

My 2013 Goals

  • 5K Run
  • Travel more/Take a much needed cruise/vacay
  • Do a professional photoshoot
  • Update my blog and add a boutique to it.
  • Expand my brand
  • Market my brand more
  • Start a Non-profit for Female Veterans and Veteran Spouses
  • Actually start on my media/press kit and have it available
  • Upgrade my camera to either a Nikon DSLR or a Canon one
  • Attend Fashion Shows
  • Design pieces for Erykah Badu (hey a girl can dream, can't she)
  • Actually put together my style and design portfolio
  • Fashion editor for a magazine
  • Attend Fashion Week
  • Design my logo and have it approved
  • Attend Cannon Family reunion
  • Go to Mississippi and visit my little people (my nieces and nephews are beginning to forget what I look like... Yeah it's been that long since I saw them... Not good)
  • Sew at least 1 outfit a month
  • Write my business plans
  • Blog at least 3 times a week
  • Actually post a Youtube video this year
  • Start investing
  • Learn more about Html and coding
  • Increase followers and subbies
  • Write a book(or at least start on it)

Ok so I know that this a hefty list but it's all the things that I feel that I need to do to move forward. For people to take me and my passion and skill more seriously.

You've seen my goals... What are your goal for this lovely new year?

XOXO,
Tina
